NYC-based creative Kristiana Gankevych takes us inside her distinctive approach to personal style, ’90s New York influences and the hidden gems she loves across the city, while styling our latest Spring Collection.

How would you describe your personal style in three words?
Feminine, effortless and confident.

How has your style evolved over the years?
I’ve become more selective and much more relaxed about trends. I know what suits me, so I choose what feels right rather than what is simply fashionable.

Is there a particular era, person or city that influences your style?
I grew up watching films set in New York, and now I’m lucky to call it home. The city and the fashion of the ’90s and early 2000s continue to inspire me.

How do you elevate a simple everyday outfit?
Clean, well-styled hair always elevates a look. I also love adding vintage jewellery for a personal touch.

What are you reaching for more… denim or tailoring?
Denim, always. It makes a look feel fresh, and I love adding a feminine touch with a fitted top, heels and a structured bag.

What’s your go-to look when you want to feel effortlessly put together?
The perfect pair of jeans, a simple white T-shirt or tank, a tailored blazer and kitten heels. It feels effortless but still considered.

What’s your favourite hidden gem in New York City?
I love having coffee at Cipriani Dolci in Grand Central, overlooking the main concourse beneath its celestial ceiling, and watching people go by.

Where do you love to shop in New York City?
I love The RealReal for vintage and unexpected finds, as well as small consignment stores where you never know what you might discover.

What’s your favourite piece from our Spring Collection?
The Effie Pant is my favourite. The darts create such a flattering shape through the waist and hips. I also love the Brady Dark Blue Bootcut Jean. They fit beautifully and make the legs look longer. A good fit makes all the difference, and both pieces get it exactly right.
